Church of Answers The Rebirth of Reason
It was just announced that Rove is resigning at the end of August, oh boy. That trumps being investigated and impeached. My question is whether or not his big head will appear in another campaign. I think NOT.
His predictions are much worse than Heloise's Oscar picks! Yes, there will be a Democrat in the WH Rove. It may or may not be Calamity Jane but it will be a Democrat if Heloise has anything to say or do with it.
The news on immigration is getting more in line with what the freakin people want: send those damn illegals back to Mexico.
In 30 days the employers will have to verify the legal papers of those they hire. If they don't they will have to fire them on the spot. Will this increase the traffic in stealing real SSN? They have stolen everything else.
Heloise
Someone will probably dot COM that title by tomorrow. I could not think of any expression more befitting the events of this week. It was strange, and a bit gay. There was “watch out for nose-diving Dow.” There were falling gas prices along with bargain basement stock prices, a veritable “fire sale” on Wall Street. There was Bill Clinton musing about monopolies and the media. There was Bush at a news conference before going on his umpteenth vacation pulling back on illegal alien giveaways—too late. There were the candidates talking to the unions in Chicago, my kind of town. Then there were the one-on-one talks by candidates with journalists, before, during and after speaking engagements; later the gay-issues forum sponsored by Visible08. This week's "biggie-wiggie:" the primary/caucus musical-chair moveups! Yes, people could be voting in December for candidates. "'This action today does not force Iowa to go into this year,'” Mr. Gardner said, noting that Iowa’s schedule would determine his. “'In the end it’s up to Iowa.'" Those were the wierdest headlines this week.
The most personal headline came to me via an unopened email from Visible08, hold me back—I thought my Spam filters had failed, or somehow gone limp. Why was I getting email from a gay Web site? Being the politico that I am I followed the link sans fear, even though I secretly worried it racy, judging by the ad at the top. Whoa, instead it was just one of those things about a candidate forum with the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community (LGBT). The democratic candidates probably did not want to be there, thank goodness candidate Jack Kennedy never had to sit on that hot seat. Nevertheless, the conventional wisdom is that it is a foregone conclusion; the Democratic Party will back legislation that helps the gay community. But the GOP also has a gay backer (now attacker) in the person of Mitt Romney. And the factoid surrounding Romney’s term as governor of Massachusetts: it became the first state in America to legalize gay marriage. But Romney, if nominated, will court the flip-flop voters on this and many other issues. While we are talking about Romney, what about his five sons, yes, he has five grown sons. Not one of them has enlisted and has no plans to enlist. They don’t need the-now-$25,000-enlistment bonus. What a week for war dodgers.
There were the usual "celebrity-without-panties stories," and rehab results and post-rehab rehash haven stories.
There were the two front-runners not speaking to each other, but speaking to media and in front of forums. There were sound bites coming out all sides of the networks about the various forum and debate responses. It is difficult to be unresponsive when plied with questions in front of a live audience, at the same time trying not to be so full of oneself in front of a gay-gawking kind. If you want to hear their stands and views, you can go to this link. I did not listen to all the discussions. But Hillary is against gay marriage per se, but for civil unions and for dispensing with the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” policy put in place by her husband.
The LGBT community wants just about everything. I mean they want to get married legally! Well, hell so do I—so do many people, and you don’t have to be gay, lesbian or transgender to consider it. But in the U.S. of A., you have to be one half of a heterosexual couple to do so legally. There’s the rub. They want same-sex education in public schools and books about alternative lifestyles such as three daddies and three mommies (if you include sperm donors and surrogate mothers). By now the LGBT has made it clear that their struggle is parallel to the civil rights struggle of black citizens. I spied an article in a local Dallas gay newspaper sporting a half-page picture of Abe Lincoln. It was nestled within a discussion demanding civil rights. If Abe were dead, he would be turning over in his grave. The entire gay world (of all colors) has laid their burden on the doorstep of civil rights groups. That’s a problem. If you are a black American and gay, then you do have a problem, and if you are black and trying to be president, well that’s just silly.
In another local newspaper, I learned that Maya Angelou is backing Hillary while Oprah is backing Barack.
And many black women are supporting Hillary Clinton! I guess she’s black enough for them. The Dallas Morning News reported that both candidates are wooing black voters. But Barack has to be careful and not perceived as “too black” ala Al Sharpton. Heloise suggested months ago that Barack not forgot the black vote, because he is not going to win without it—enough said.
Obama and Clinton were the only two candidates to attend the National Association of Black Journalists convention this week in Las Vegas. The "black" question popped up for Hillary in Vegas--"Are you black enough?" And at the same time, Barack Obama finally gave a serious answer to Roland Martin RE: “are you black enough?”
What it really does is really lay bare, I think, that we’re still locked in this notion that if you appeal to white folks then there must be something wrong,” he [Obama] said, adding it’s the same sort of suspicion many blacks face when they attend a predominately white Ivy League institution.
He said the question was “just silly.” However, the problem really is "white Ivy League." But based on his legislation and his concerns about issues that have clouded the horizon for decades for blacks in this country, I think we can say collectively, Barack you are black, welcome to the fold brother. The news about Michael Vick (NFL quaterback) was not good. I hate torture, the sound of torture, the thought of torture and the talk of torture, so it was difficult for me to watch the Vick dog-fighting, dog-killing stories of the past few weeks. I did and the story itself is horrendous. But Vick tried in abstention by the media and the outcry coming from whites, whose ancestors were silent during the lynching of black people in the South, gives hypocrisy a new meaning. Dogs are not my best friend, I don’t care for them, especially knowing that drug dealers and gang members are breeding them, and keeping them at their homes to protect their drugs and their booty. So, I have little sympathy for Vick and his money and his dogs.
There you have it—the week that was weird.

Thank you Rick for your reply. As you see by my other posts I have been occupied by getting my oral surgery in order. But below are my answers:
Rick: I, too, was raised Catholic. The rituals performed in the Church were
beautiful, with the Latin, candles and incense. The aura of
reverence, practised in silence, was a rich and spiritual journey for
a tender child, such as I. As it went, I grew to question certain
aspects of the Catholic faith, but that's a long story...
Net: Yes, I talk about Thomas Merton's experience. And why he chose Catholicism over other religions. He was also one of the first to bring contemplative prayer back to the Catholic church. He was a master of Zen Buddhism. He is a master. He was St. Paul and Shakespeare in former lives.
Rick: I have a few questions about your book, Leslie. There a 50 some
documented Savants in the world today whom are distinquished by their
uncanny ability to perform some tasks in ways that stupify the common
man.
Net: Yes, people who know me have experienced my mental telepathy. My dreams have come true at an astonishing rate. The one I write about in the book "my house became a gushing oil well," is also about to come true. I own the land under my house and people want to give me royalities to use the natural gas. It could mean being independently wealthy. In that case I WILL BE able to promote my book personally.
Rick: Most scientists have, at this point, concluded that their
abilities stem from brain damage which, in turn, allows them to focus
on another region of the brain. While this may be true, it also seems
to me as though they are tapping into some divine source of knowlege.
What are your thoughts on this?
Net: I know how JFK died. I chose that death. Not only did I take the next initiation (6th) but it meant solidifying my place as a master by dying then and there. It also changed my DNA. My brain was damaged. That is also why I had to take a body almost ten years before that death. If you have read any posts from other Theosophy sites: it is a well-known fact that many of the masters (including FDR--whom I also write about) were presidents of the USA.
Why? Because one is marked by such a death if they have not prepared for it. It would have been brain damage that could not have been overcome in this life. Thus I had to leave before I left. But when JFK died he took the 6th initiation. The killer was on the 6th floor. Same with MLK. He took took the 6th when he was killed (I talk about him in Dinner also). The number 6 was prominent when King was killed. This is pure revelation, pure revelation.
Net: That divine source is really cosmic knowing. In my experiences most of my sources take me through travel in this universe. I traverse the universe in full consciousness just like the Buddha described. It IS about consciousness.
Rick: Do you use a similar source to recall past lives and does your book address this?
Net: The Buddha is my source. I have been allowed to use his vestures. (I reveal his identity in Dinner With DaVinci as well.) But it is just as Alice Bailey predicted. He is the cosmic source for past life recall--this goes for everyone. I am merely the forerunner, just as the Buddha was back then. We can all plug into this source just as I have plugged into this source. IT is an actual experience of being pulled into a huge vacuum!!
Rick: Our bodies (except for identical twins) are unique. It would seem
this fact, together with environment (social and physical elements),
are the main factors that make us individuals.
Net: Yes, but as HPB said "Separateness is an illusion."
Rick: Of course, there are other considerations, such as divine knowledge (spiritual attachments
to art, music, etc.),which have carried over from past incarnations
and which add to our identity. Am I on the right track?
Net: Yes, you are. We do not lose what we have learned/gained in past lives. THIS IS IT: YOU CAN AND DO TAKE IT WITH YOU.
Rick: Do you think intuition is another term for divine knowlege?
Net: Intuition is the gift of the 6th ray. It will be the power exhibited extraordinaire by the 6th root race. It is on the love/wisdom ray. It is another term for divine knowledge.
Rick: Do you think genetics play a significant role in our abilities to fully
harness or intensify our intuition?
Net: I have put up a chapter at the Church of Answers called "The Non-Evolution Revolution." I also talk a lot about DNA in the book. It is a divine gift. I see it as being given to each man/woman as they take the body and gain a soul from the first time.
Rick: Does the ability to recall past lives coinside with intuition?
Net: It is revelation. And revelation comes in the form of dreams and intuition and what Alice Bailey called: spiritual reading, and thus intuition.
Rick: Are you JFK?
Net: Yes, I am.
Rick: Were you JFK?
Net: Yes, I was.
Rick: Are we all JFK?
Net: That's a truly insightful question. This is how my son described how rebirth worked. He said that Jesus is the one continually being reborn and that we are experiencing rebirth through Jesus Christ.
Net: Therefore it would make your question true because we are not separate. I know I was him in the flesh, and now have to repay, replay much of the karma from that life. I have even had to work with spine surgeons to repay the karma for them repairing my spine in that life. That too was a revelation. But I did not know at the time why. Now I know. I know.
Rick: I thank you, in advance for any insight to these questions.
Net: You are most welcome. Thank you for these wonderful questions.
Guess what? I even have the same damn pair of yellow pants JFK wore.
